Marie Collins

I studied acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

I recently appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s one women musical, Tell Me On A Sunday.  Other professional performing credits include: Arcadia (Endillion Theatre Company), Blitz Bride – The Musical (UK Tour), Just Like Anthea (UK Tour), Chess In Concert (Royal Albert Hall), Girls Night (No.1 National Tour), The Songs of Tim Rice (Henley Festival), Salad Days (Bristol Old Vic Theatre).

As a soloist, I have performed in some of the countries’ most prestigious venues, including The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Bridgewater Hall, The Sage and the Henley Festival.

As a well-respected Musical Director, I have worked with numerous leading theatre groups on shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, La Cage Aux Folles, Les Miserables, Sweet Charity, Me & My Girl, Oliver, Oklahoma, The Producers, Betty Blue Eyes and The Wiz.

I have been teaching voice for many years both in Theatre Schools throughout Yorkshire and in my own private teaching studio in Leeds.  I constantly continue my research into vocal anatomy and voice production, and I am currently on the Estill Master Trainer Pathway studying with Anne-Marie Speed. I am Head Of Singing at Damien Poole Theatre Arts and founder and director of The VivaVox Choir.

I am also a certified NLP Practitioner and I promote a positive mindset to help my students with confidence, nerves and performance anxiety.
